TV documentary journalist Roger Corke came up with the idea for Deadly Protocol whilst he was filming in America.

"I had a chance meeting with a British scientist working in cancer research out there," says Roger.

"He told me what amazing strides had been made recently in the world's fight against this terrible disease.

"I asked him the obvious question: does that mean we may find a cure for cancer soon?

"His answer floored me. 'It's possible that they already have,'he said. 'But a lot of people have a lot to lose if a cure for cancer ever sees the light of day.'

"The plot for Deadly Protocol jumped out at me at that moment."
